Health Update

Maddie had her annual testing at the hospital last Thursday, and cardiac check up yesterday. She got an A+ on her heart condition!!! She was so good and cooperative for the echo, ekg and xray b/c i promised her a special surprise. She acted like such a big girl and did whatever the nurses asked. Dr. Sotomora, her wonderful cardiologist, let us know the great news that all of the tests looked great. Her leaky valve was very mild and barely detectible on the echo. This means she has less than a 5% chance of having to have a valve replaced when she is older. Her pulmonary artery is growing well and is almost in the normal range for width. We do not have to do testing again for 2 years now since she is doing so well! "Couldn't have asked for a better outcome from the surgery", said Dr. S. Great news!
