Austin Day 1

Chris picked Maddie, Billy and I up on a Thurs night for our long weekend in Austin! He had to fly back to LR anyway to drop off his boss and some friends, so it was a great opp to fly to Austin since we have not been down there since he and Jami moved there. Waiting for her carseat, having a preflight drink! ha!

Mommy looks tired. It was a kinda late departure.
Billy, Maddie and I spent day one exploring Austin by ourselves. Chris had to fly back to drop off his bosses friends in Arkansas and to pickup Jami and Justin H. We spent much of this day driving around totally lost. We finally found the Childrens Museum and by then it was cranky pant's nap time but we went anyway.
We had a great time! This lil bulldozer thingy was pretty neat.
Her fave was this parachute cable. You pick a toy animal and try to find the correct size parachute for it. Attach it to the cable the pull it up to the top and release it float safely down.

The awesome view from Jami and Chris's balcony. Lakeway is gorgeous! Its a suburb of Austin.
Once Jami, Justin and Chris arrived back in Austin we all went out to eat at the Oasis. A huge 3 story restaurant/bar with live music overlooking Lake Travis. Lots of fun!

This child danced with Chris forever! She loved it.
