This is the lovely waiting room at ACH where we called home while Madelyn was in the hospital. Luckily we only slept here one night. just sat, ate, and chatted in here with others the rest of the time. Not too comfortable. We were fortunate to live close enough to go home at night to sleep so others who were from out of town could sleep in the waiting room. It was a humbling experience and made us actually feel lucky. There were so many parents just like us, that had babies with much bigger problems. Many had been living at the hospital for months. You don't know how strong you can be until you're faced with something like this. You just do what has to be done and keep it positive.
